Dealing with the isolation of unemployment (Salt Lake City)

Being out of work for 12 months has worn me down more than I expected. I am in Salt Lake City, in case local advice matters. Some days I feel numb. Did you talk to someone?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
