Dealing with the isolation of unemployment - first time posting

I am trying to look after my mental health while I search. I am in Austin, in case local advice matters. I do not want to pretend I am fine. What helps you?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 7 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
