Dealing with the isolation of unemployment - first time posting

I am trying to look after my mental health while I search. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I exercise when I can and try to stay connected. How do you ask friends for support?

I told two friends how I really felt. It was uncomfortable, but it made things lighter.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
