Dealing with the isolation of unemployment - first time posting

I am trying to look after my mental health while I search. I am in Little Rock, in case local advice matters. Some days I feel numb. How do you ask friends for support?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 5 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
