Dealing with the isolation of unemployment - any advice?

Being out of work for 9 months has worn me down more than I expected. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I exercise when I can and try to stay connected. How do you ask friends for support?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
