Dealing with the isolation of unemployment after 5 years as a graphic designer

I am trying to look after my mental health while I search. I am in Sacramento, in case local advice matters. I exercise when I can and try to stay connected.

Short walks helped me more than I expected. Even ten minutes changed my mood.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
