Dealing with the isolation of unemployment - 5 weeks in

I am trying to look after my mental health while I search. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. Some days I feel numb. How do you ask friends for support?

I told two friends how I really felt. It was uncomfortable, but it made things lighter.

Short walks helped me more than I expected. Even ten minutes changed my mood.
