Dealing with the isolation of unemployment - 5 months and counting

Being out of work for 5 months has worn me down more than I expected. It has been a long 21 weeks. I do not want to pretend I am fine. How do you ask friends for support?

I told two friends how I really felt. It was uncomfortable, but it made things lighter.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
