Dealing with the isolation of unemployment

Being out of work for 14 months has worn me down more than I expected. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I do not want to pretend I am fine. How do you ask friends for support?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
