Daily structure while out of work - what worked for you?

Since my layoff as a janitorial supervisor I have no real structure. I tried blocking out hours for applications but I lose steam by noon. What helps you switch off?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 14 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
