Daily structure while out of work - any advice?

Since my layoff as a store manager I have no real structure. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I tried blocking out hours for applications but I lose steam by noon. How many hours do you really work on the search?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It saved me later.

I use one day for networking, one for applications and one for learning something. Variety helps.
