Daily structure while out of work after 6 years as a sales associate

Since my layoff as a sales associate I have no real structure. I am in Chicago, in case local advice matters. Some days I do nothing and feel guilty. What helps you switch off?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.

Write a short list the night before. Waking up with a plan is a relief.
