Daily structure while out of work after 17 years as an office manager

Since my layoff as an office manager I have no real structure. Any experience at all would help. I tried blocking out hours for applications but I lose steam by noon. What helps you switch off?

I use one day for networking, one for applications and one for learning something. Variety helps.
