Daily structure while out of work after 17 years as a paralegal

Since my layoff as a paralegal I have no real structure. I tried blocking out hours for applications but I lose steam by noon. What helps you switch off?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 7 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
