Daily structure while out of work after 10 years as a security officer

Since my layoff as a security officer I have no real structure. I am in Spokane, in case local advice matters. I also want time to exercise and to see people. How many hours do you really work on the search?

I use one day for networking, one for applications and one for learning something. Variety helps.
