Daily structure while out of work - 6 weeks in

Since my layoff as a quality inspector I have no real structure. I am in Charlotte, in case local advice matters. Some days I do nothing and feel guilty. How many hours do you really work on the search?

I aim for three focused hours, then stop. More than that and my applications got worse.
