Daily structure while out of work - 24 weeks in

Since my layoff as an electrician's helper I have no real structure. I also want time to exercise and to see people. How many hours do you really work on the search?

I aim for three focused hours, then stop. More than that and my applications got worse.

I use one day for networking, one for applications and one for learning something. Variety helps.
