Daily structure while out of work - 10 months and counting

Since my layoff as a welding apprentice I have no real structure. I am in Cincinnati, in case local advice matters. I also want time to exercise and to see people. How many hours do you really work on the search?

I use one day for networking, one for applications and one for learning something. Variety helps.
