Childcare while job hunting, what worked? (Wichita)

The daycare near me wants more than I can pay. It has been a long 14 weeks. A neighbour offered help but not every day. Is there an emergency option?

Ask the school about after-school programmes. Some are free or based on income.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
