Childcare while job hunting, what worked? - what worked for you?

My hours will change when I find a job and childcare is my biggest worry. It has been a long 11 weeks. A neighbour offered help but not every day. How long did subsidies take?

Ask the school about after-school programmes. Some are free or based on income.
