Childcare while job hunting, what worked?, security officer here

I have 10 kids and I need to interview and work without a sitter. There are 10 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. A neighbour offered help but not every day. What worked for you?

I swapped afternoons with another parent. It took some planning and saved us both money.
