Childcare while job hunting, what worked?, sales associate here

I have 5 kids and I need to interview and work without a sitter. Any experience at all would help. A neighbour offered help but not every day. Is there an emergency option?

Ask the school about after-school programmes. Some are free or based on income.

Libraries and community centres run free activities that gave me a couple of hours.
