Childcare while job hunting, what worked? (Raleigh)

My hours will change when I find a job and childcare is my biggest worry. I worked as a procurement assistant before this. A neighbour offered help but not every day. What worked for you?

Ask the school about after-school programmes. Some are free or based on income.
