Childcare while job hunting, what worked?, office manager here

My hours will change when I find a job and childcare is my biggest worry. It has been a long 2 weeks. A neighbour offered help but not every day. How long did subsidies take?

I swapped afternoons with another parent. It took some planning and saved us both money.
