Childcare while job hunting, what worked? (Little Rock)

I have 13 kids and I need to interview and work without a sitter. I worked as a production planner before this. I looked into subsidies but the forms are long. Is there an emergency option?

Our county's childcare assistance took about 3 weeks to approve, but it covered most of the cost.

I swapped afternoons with another parent. It took some planning and saved us both money.
