Childcare while job hunting, what worked? (Honolulu)

I have 5 kids and I need to interview and work without a sitter. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. A neighbour offered help but not every day. Is there an emergency option?

Keep everything in writing and save the confirmation numbers. It made the follow-up calls so much easier.
