Childcare while job hunting, what worked? - first time posting

My hours will change when I find a job and childcare is my biggest worry. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. A neighbour offered help but not every day. How long did subsidies take?

I swapped afternoons with another parent. It took some planning and saved us both money.

Ask the school about after-school programmes. Some are free or based on income.
