Childcare while job hunting, what worked? - first time posting

I have 17 kids and I need to interview and work without a sitter. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I looked into subsidies but the forms are long.

Our county's childcare assistance took about 19 weeks to approve, but it covered most of the cost.
