Childcare while job hunting, what worked? after 6 years as a payroll clerk

My hours will change when I find a job and childcare is my biggest worry. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I am willing to trade favours.

Our county's childcare assistance took about 14 weeks to approve, but it covered most of the cost.
