Childcare while job hunting, what worked? after 4 years as a dental hygienist

My hours will change when I find a job and childcare is my biggest worry. This is my first time dealing with any of this. I looked into subsidies but the forms are long. How long did subsidies take?

Ask the school about after-school programmes. Some are free or based on income.
