Childcare while job hunting, what worked? after 3 years as an IT help-desk technician

My hours will change when I find a job and childcare is my biggest worry. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I looked into subsidies but the forms are long.

Ask the school about after-school programmes. Some are free or based on income.
