Childcare while job hunting, what worked? after 17 years as an accounts payable clerk

I have 17 kids and I need to interview and work without a sitter. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I looked into subsidies but the forms are long.

Ask the school about after-school programmes. Some are free or based on income.
