Childcare while job hunting, what worked? after 11 years as a marketing coordinator

My hours will change when I find a job and childcare is my biggest worry. A neighbour offered help but not every day. What worked for you?

Our county's childcare assistance took about 15 weeks to approve, but it covered most of the cost.

Ask the school about after-school programmes. Some are free or based on income.
