Childcare while job hunting, what worked? - 2 weeks in

My hours will change when I find a job and childcare is my biggest worry. I worked as a sales associate before this. I am willing to trade favours. What worked for you?

I swapped afternoons with another parent. It took some planning and saved us both money.
