Childcare while job hunting, what worked? - 2 months and counting

I have 4 kids and I need to interview and work without a sitter. I worked as a production planner before this. A neighbour offered help but not every day. What worked for you?

I swapped afternoons with another parent. It took some planning and saved us both money.
