Budgeting tips when income drops - what worked for you?

We are a household of 7 and the budget no longer works. I am in Honolulu, in case local advice matters. I am nervous about falling behind. Any apps or methods?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 9 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
