Budgeting tips when income drops - what worked for you?

We are a household of 17 and the budget no longer works. There are 17 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I listed needs and wants and cut a few subscriptions.

Check for energy assistance programmes. I got a credit that covered two bills.
