Budgeting tips when income drops - what worked for you?

We are a household of 7 and the budget no longer works. I have been trying to stay organised about it. I listed needs and wants and cut a few subscriptions. Did lenders work with you?

I called each lender and asked for a hardship plan. Two agreed to lower payments for a few months.
