Budgeting tips when income drops, retail manager here

My income is now a fraction of what it was as a retail manager and I am trying to cover the essentials. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I am nervous about falling behind.

Sell things you do not use. I made about $550 from a weekend of listing.

Check for energy assistance programmes. I got a credit that covered two bills.
