Budgeting tips when income drops (Providence)

We are a household of 4 and the budget no longer works. I worked as an insurance claims processor before this. The rent is fixed and the car payment is high. Any apps or methods?

I called each lender and asked for a hardship plan. Two agreed to lower payments for a few months.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
