Budgeting tips when income drops - first time posting

We are a household of 5 and the budget no longer works. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. I am nervous about falling behind. Any apps or methods?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 9 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
