Budgeting tips when income drops - first time posting

We are a household of 14 and the budget no longer works. I do not usually post, so bear with me. I listed needs and wants and cut a few subscriptions. What helped you?

A paper list of bills by due date helped me more than an app. I could see the month at a glance.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 13 months ago, and it settled down once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
