Budgeting tips when income drops - any advice?

We are a household of 17 and the budget no longer works. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. I am nervous about falling behind. Did lenders work with you?

Check for energy assistance programmes. I got a credit that covered two bills.
