Best tools for tracking applications? after 7 years as an accounts payable clerk

I am looking for free tools that do not spam me. It has been a long 25 weeks. I do not want to pay for premium features. Any good templates?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 11 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
