Best tools for tracking applications? - 10 weeks in

I need a résumé template that passes automated screening. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. A spreadsheet with dates and follow-ups worked a little. What do you use?

Use a plain one-column résumé with standard headings. Mine got more replies after I simplified it.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it last year, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
