Affordable home internet for job applications - what worked for you?

My home internet costs more than I can manage on unemployment. I am in Minneapolis, in case local advice matters. Employers call and email constantly. Did you qualify for any programmes?

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 5 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
