Affordable home internet for job applications - what worked for you?

I am worried about keeping my phone and internet on during my search. There are 10 people counting on me, so I am trying to be careful. I heard of low-cost plans for people with limited income. What else should I consider?

Ask your internet provider about their low-income plan. They rarely advertise it.
