Affordable home internet for job applications (update)

I am worried about keeping my phone and internet on during my search. I worked as an insurance claims processor before this. I heard of low-cost plans for people with limited income.

Keep the number you use for job applications, even if you change plans. Employers will call it.

Libraries lend Wi-Fi hotspots in some towns. Mine lent one for three weeks.
