Affordable home internet for job applications, data-entry clerk here

I am worried about keeping my phone and internet on during my search. I would rather hear the honest version than the polite one. Some applications need a computer. What else should I consider?

Ask your internet provider about their low-income plan. They rarely advertise it.

Thanks for writing this out. I went through something close to it 5 months ago, and it got easier once I kept a simple log of every call and form.
