Affordable home internet for job applications, customer-service rep here

I am worried about keeping my phone and internet on during my search. I have read a lot of threads here and could not find my exact situation. Employers call and email constantly. Did you qualify for any programmes?

Libraries lend Wi-Fi hotspots in some towns. Mine lent one for three weeks.
